"On March 13, Connie Aliano died. On March 13, Allegany County Episcopal Ministry lost a secretary. On March 13, we were all separated from a dear friend.
Looking back over my two year association with Connie, I was confronted with a kaleidoscope of memories. There was her boundless energy, she was a proverbial dynamo; her red hair which became a point of banter between us; her independence; her devotion to her job; her love for her husband and family; her love of life; her love of God.
Even though I was named Administrator of ACEM, there was never any question who was in charge of the office. Connie was."
